  1. Who knows a good, reasonably-priced (oxymoron?) tech who works on tube stuff in or around Northern New Jersey?
  2. My friend's wife hates and despises his single '57 Khorn, which he acquired last weekend from its original owner. Under the expansive hood is an EV15W with more chrome than a J-2 Oldsmobile; a massive University T-50 midrange driver on a 4406 cast aluminum horn; a University HF206 tweeter; and an N3 crossover. Condition is superb. Email me for filthy pictures, or call (973) 473-2094.
  3. This is my first post on the Klipsch forum. I see a number of names familiar to me from the Vintage and High Efficiency Asylums, where I have been a frequent contributor. So greetings and salutations to you, and to all my new friends. A friend recently acquired a single Khorn from the widow of the original owner. According to the information on the back, it was built in 1957, and furnished to the original owner in raw form. At some point in its life, the owner, or a very fine craftsman, covered it in a thick wood-look Formica. The woofer is an EV15W; the midrange a University T-50; the tweeter an HF206; the crossover an N3. Except for the minor chip here and there, the cabinet, paper labels (one bearing the signature 'PWK'), grill cloth, and speaker components are all in amazing condition. As much as my friend would like to keep it, his wife, who is far less tolerant than my own, would 'like' him to sell. If anyone on this forum might have an interest, the speaker can be seen and heard in Passaic, New Jersey. We would also welcome any historical or other insight that you are able to provide.
