I just purchased a Klipsch Synergy Quintet (not II or III) with the subwoofer from someone and they said they purchased the system in 2000. I opened the items today and the subwoofer is a KSW-50 (8-inch sub) which was no longer produced after 1998. Can anyone tell me if this 8-inch sub was an optional sub for the original Quintet? I can only find information about the Quintet II and III systems and they both have a the 10 and 12 inch subs as the optional sub. Thanks for anyone that can help. Chad
