personally P_a_r_a_d_i_g_m if i were to make a ht setup i wouldn't use the cinema's (micro home theater...i just don't know about that). However, i will support you in saying the paradigm does make quality speakers. So if I were you...(kinda like what jjayb

was getting at) why not get: active 40's for the front; active cc center; active 20's or acive ADP for rears; and either 2 servo 15's or two velodyne hgs-18's; and maybe a marantz AV9000. That would sound pretty nice.

[quick question]

Ever since the v2.400's came out people have been wanting a 5.1 system from klipsch. Now they introduce one and more people are complaining than celebrating. I just can't imagine what the people at klipsch are thinking reading some of these posts on their forums that are pretty much bashing the idea of the new 5.1's. Seriously, what happened? If you don't like the idea of the 5.1 klipsch's don't tell people to go buy some paradigm cinema's, or other speakers for that matter...that's not what this forum is for, it's for getting help and asking questions (at least that's what i think). And as for the people upset because they just bought the 4.1's; you still have an incredible set of pc speakers...be happy with for what you have: klipsch didn't cheat you in any way. Just needed to vent a little...don't want to start any flaming.

[4.1 Availability and 4.2 Questions]

so...the 4.2 would be just as good as the 4.1's in sound quality and dynamics? I mean...if this was true...why aren't people going nuts over the 300 dollar deal with the 4.2's...any info amy or promedia tech2?

Why does everyone talk about the 2.1's not being as good because they have less power; power is not what defines good sound...if that were so wouldn't the klipsch be 4x better than the sirocco crossfire's?
