It doesn't appear to be a ground loop problem but I think you may be right about the capacitor. The Klipsch tech support guy says he has never seen this symptom to date so I guess its pretty rare. It is still under warranty so it looks like its time to ship it back. Thanks for the response!

I just signed up new to the forum. I've owed a pair of KG4's for years and appreciate the Klipsch sound and quality. In changing from two channel stereo to 5.1 surround, I purchased a KSW-12 and a new Denon ASV2105 to drive it. No matter how I hook it up, preamp line in or speaker connect, it just rumbles. Even with no signal! Any thoughts?
