I am using a Yamaha HTR-5840 I just can't tune the sub or the speakers so they sound good...There is just too many different tweaking options

Hey guys...wanted to say hi to you all cuz I'm new to this forum. I'm 21 and me and my wife and son just got our first house this month so to make it more comfy I went out and got a Klipsch surround sound system containing the Synergy 3 series of ( 2 of the f-2's, 1 of the c-2's, 2 of the s-2's, and 1 of the sub-10's). Now I am new to surround sound because not having a place of my own I was never able to have some sound system but I just don't know really anything about tweaking them. I would like my sub to pump out some bass I just don't know what to tweak with all those nobs on the back. Would someone be able to help a noob out? I would really appreciate it. Thanks so much.
