  1. thanks wdrazek, i guess i'll go for RSX-4 for now and get a bigger system when i get a bigger room ted
  2. thanks alot Jay. But I dont have enough space for large speakers. That's why. But I'll give RSX-5 a try if I have a chance.
  3. Hi Jay, which satellite (RSX-4 or RSX-5) would work better in your opinion? would the sound from the satellites over power the sub? do you think that it will really help with the treble and also add more detail? Will you loose the warm-sounding character? please help me. if it's worth, then i'll get those satellites. or is there a better way? thanks, ted
  4. Hi, For people who find IFI to be lacking in treble, would upgrating the satellites to RSX-4 or RSX-5 from Klipsch help with the sound quality? Has anyone ever tried that out? Is the treble better? Has the Class D amplifier in the Sub got enough power to drive these larger satellites? If you have treid, please let me know whether it's a good idea or not. thanks, Ted ps. Or is there another way to improve the treble without using EQ?
  5. hi there, I'm a student currently studying in Germany. I'm an audiophile and I love the sound of my vacuum tube sound system and 1.5 m tall speakers at home, which I really miss. I've considered getting a home sound system, but I don't wanna have problems when moving around the country. So I want a smaller system with an audiophile (or close enough) quality. For a year I've been searching for a 2.1 sound system that would satisfy me and I couldn't. Then I heard about Ifi and read a lot of positive reviews on the internet. Though the problem is, I don't own an Ipod. There's also nowhere I could check this system out, but I can order them online. I have a Sony Walkman (D-EJ835) with quite a good quality line-out sound. The question that holds me back from buying Ifi is: "Will I still get exceptional sound if I connect my cd-player through the mini jack?" I listen to a lot of Classical, Opera, Jazz, and also R&B, Rock, Salsa, etc.... So I really wanna make sure that this is the system for me. - I heard people complaining that connecting their equipments through the mini jack input didn't result in good sound as with the Ipod. - If I connect my Walkman through the input at the Dock, would it sound better than connecting it through the back of the sub??? - If I use a good connecting cable, would it help with the sound quality in this case? My Walkman doesn't have a too-high output power, so the sound shouldn't distort as with devices with higher output signal since that's the input problem with Ifi. Your opinion would be of great help. I'll definitely get this system if it can work well with my Walkman. Thanks a lot!!!
