Anybody else want to get rid of a LF-10? I thought with all the problems they seem to have, finding one would not be a problem....

I'm wondering if sombody here can tell me what kind of amp the RW-12 uses... Is it a single plate amp, or does it have two main parts, the crossover and adjustments on one plate, and the actual amp mounted seperatly inside the sub. I'm looking to build my own sub, and have seen the rw-12 "Plate Amp" on the internet, but need to know if it will work. Any info would be great!! Thanks! Snype32

I have a LF-10 that recently started rattling. The sound is coming from one of the passive radiators. Is there a way to repair it? Or does anyone out there have a replacement for it? Any info would be great. Thanks! Snype32

hi Is the lf 10 that you are talking about complete? i'm curious, rather than disassembling it, would you mind selling it to me as a complete unit. i have been looking for an lf 10 or lf 12, with no luck. please let me know

Thanks for the reply... I'm not too worried about the design flaws, as I'm sure I can repair them. I have built a number of subs, so taking them apart and fixing them is no big deal to me. Snype32

Hi I am looking for LF-10 and 12 Subwoofers. It seems they are hard to find, and I would like to play with one as they seem to have good specs. I do have a woofer from a LF-10, and I tried it with a Velodyne SPL amp with very good results, so I am hoping to find more so I can build a couple of subs. Any info would be great! Thanks Snype32
