  1. I'm good with DIY if i know what i'm supposed to be doing. If I had a guide or a how to it'd be no sweat.
  2. It's the standalone on the right side.
  3. What would a busted capacitor look like? Sorry, but I'm almost completely oblivious to electronics... One of the capacitors has a bubbled or dome shape top while the others are flat. Would that mean it's no good?
  4. I got my iFi a few years ago and its been great for the most part. After seemless operation for a couple of years the subwoofer started making a slight hissing noise(sort of like a continuous strong wind). At first I thought nothing of it but it has become an incredibly loud popping, thumping, distortion. For the most part I only use the iFi as my computer speakers and leave the system on but at the lowest volume when not in use. I've tried resetting the sub by unplugging it for a while and disconnecting all of the speakers, lines, etc. and neither have helped the problem. Anybody have any clue why this is happening and what I can do to fix it? I assume that the warranty is now invalid because of how long I've had the system. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, - Justin
  5. i got the klipsch iFi last year for x-mas when i had a nano. fast forward a couple of months my ipod nano took a dive in a hot tub with me and no longer works. Then after a few months of hell and not having nearly all of my music with me and needing a new phone i went ahead and purchased the iPhone. So my questions are: can i get the iPhone to work in the dock? Do any of you have your iFi and iPhone hooked up together via the dock? Does klipsch have a dock adapter for the the iPhone? What would i have to do to be able to make the iPhone to work in the dock? thanks for the help
  6. so can anybody answer this question?!?!?!

  9. hey im lookin to get this iFi system and one of my friends is selling his. The only thing thats wrong with it is that it doesnt have the red knob on the back of one of the speakers. Is that knob a nessecity or can i do without it. i havent seen the speakers up close but i heard it once and i was amazed at the quality of sound it produced.
