  1. Many thanks to all who have helped this this! You guys ROCK!
  2. Thanks that was the sweet and simple answer I was looking for! However, the front wall won't work in my setup. I have a couple other options along the back or side walls, but both will require closer to 35' to 50' cables. Can I just use a male/male adapter and connect 2-24' interconnects together?
  3. Would a true "surround" speaker be more appropriate in this system, or would the difference be negligable? KSB 3.1 in the front, KSB 2.1 for surrounds and KSC-C1 for the center, KSW-10 Sub & Denon 2801. Thanks for you input!
  4. After doing some research here, this has become much more complicated that I expected, but maybe my system (being older and not real high end) doesn't require the confusion of all the options I see people doing with their high end systems (loops, etc.). I just want to connect my KSW-10 Sub to this system: KSB 3.1 in the front, KSB 2.1 for surrounds and KSC-C1 for the center & Denon 2801. What do you guys reccomend? I want to get the necessary cables before the sub shows up - so I can "Plug and Play!"
  5. BrennyE - Wow, I'm really not as stupid as I sounded in that post! Do I have enough power....sorry. Thanks for not rubbing it in... You might think, my first clue would be that I posted in "POWERED Subwoofers" Geez....
  6. I wish I would have seen your offer a few hours earlier. I just got the ksw-10. I know I can do lots better, but at this point, the KSW-10 is LOTS better than nothing! Thanks.
  7. Anyone have thoughts on what sub to get for a Home Theater that matches well with the following: I am looking to get into a sub to complete my system. I am thinking the KSW-10 or KSW-12, because it is from the same series (I think), and they are both pretty affordable. I want to keep it around $200, which seems possible if I buy used. I am currently running KSB 3.1 in the front, KSB 2.1 for surrounds and KSC-C1 for the center. Now that I have the LCD tv, I really want to complete the package with a nice sub! I power it with a Denon AVR-2801 (90 watts per/channel). Do I have enough power for the 12"? Would I notice a big difference? The room is about 14' x 25' Also is it better to connect the sub through the LFE? (I need about 40' of cable) Thanks in advance for any advice!
