  1. There is only two ends, positive and negative on one side of the wire and 4 ends on the other side of the wire, 2 positive and 2 negative, dont know what you mean???
  2. I have speaker cable i really like that is bi-wire and the new speakers i have are not, does anyone know of something i can buy that will help me out with this ? I dont want to cut these wires and re terminate. Someone has to make some little adapter???
  3. What adapter are you talking about for the amp?
  4. did you upgrade your power cords?
  5. Thanks for the advice, i think i will try it for a while and burn it in. I will move the room around till i get what i want and if that doesnt work i will go from there. I know this is a klipsch board is there a generic hifi board that is good that you would suggest joining?
  6. Sorry about the confusion on my part forgot this is a klipsch forum. Can anyone suggest a generic forum that i will be able to get some good feedback?
  7. im not sure that these cords are the solution either. I have the system in an office/listening room. there is a lot of equiptment plugged into one circuit. Maybe this is why the power conditioner he sent me home with helped. I dont know if RFI/EMI is my problem as i am new to the hifi world. The really big improvement was in the bass in the system, before i had the conditioner there was bass but no emotion if that makes sense. With the unit plugged in the conditioner the bass was alive. I hope this makes sense and i dont sound like a lunatic. This is why i have ventured into researching power cords and conditioners. The only thing i have come accross that makes sense is balanced power, it just makes sense to me. The power cord thing is a mystery to me????
  8. My system is: Dynaudio 72se speakers Musical Fidelity x-pre Musical Fidelity x-p200 ( x2 bridged ) Musical Fidelity x-ray v3 cd Dynalab md-90 Tuner Nordost Blue Heaven Interconects and Speaker Cable I am looking at changing the cd player to the shanling t100.
  9. I am new to hifi and i purchased a system that sounded great in the store, when i got it home it didnt sound the same which the guy that owned the store said may happen. Now we worked on the problem together trying different solutions. He let me take home a power conditioner by isotek systems and it was like the system came alive. Now he is trying to sell me a conditioner and cords i am doing my research. Long story short the system sounded much better with the conditioner on it? dont know why but it did sound great. I am looking at Balanced Power Tech and Equitech, it is between the two and i just wanted to get some unbiast advice
  10. I am looking at purchasing new power cords and power conditioner for my hifi system. Very confused in what i should be looking at but think I have narrowed it down to Balanced Power Conditioner and Acoustic Zen Elnino cables. Can anyone give me some insight into what I should be looking at before I spend 3000.00 THanks
