  1. Killer bedroom system, was expecting to see some ladies on your bed with a system like that. You know.. just studying of course.

    Lady Audiophile Repairwomen.

Is the concept of a Lady Audiophile Repairwoman so unfamiliar to you that no one will even comment?

My friends told me I need to bring girls over here to watch movies, then they'll realize that the only place ti sounds better is in the theater, so they'll keep wanting to come back. It sounds pretty foolproof to me...although the "sweet spot" can't be achieved if I'm lying on the bed in a position compatible with a lady's presence...

    LOL! [:P]

He got so excited he posted it twice! [;)]

    Now that's very funny.

This particular thread has the potential to be one of the funniest ones ever.

Come on everybody, make it funny.

  3. I don't know of any 60 year olds that dig bass like you do, Roc. That's cool. By the way, for how long did you participate in Sumo wrestling? lol

I lost my first match with a Sumo guy. Like I am losing the match with trying to move the f-113s around the room.

JL Audio includes a microphone and white gloves with their subs. What they should be including is a mini-forklift to help with the lifting.

Oh the "sweet spot" can be achieved alright.

  5. OB,

We haven't you seen this excited in a while. You better be careful....this may be hazardous to your health.[;)]

P.S. I like The Rolling Stones too!!!!

The only thing that got me fired up more, was getting the Scott. The Stones are old Pro's, and time is not on their side, So you must enjoy what they do now, while we can.............I just love DVD's of Concerts, and to get the DTS dailed in, it's like being there. I have seen the 40 licks Tour, My first time seeing them, and the Bigger Bang Tour, in a local arena, LOCAL.....So, I don't need to see them again, but will buy the DVD's............As far as hazardous to my health.........No worse than Halter Tops and short shorts in the summer......I'm an Old Dawg...........EH !!!!!...[&]..[:$]

Yes you do need to see them again. Are you kidding me or what?

oldbuckster, may I share with you? I first saw the Stones in Baltimore in 1964. I have seen them in Baltimore, DC, <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Philadelphia, Cleveland, and NY. Nuff said.

Hey Christy, we all like the stones, especially those of us born in the 20th Century.

  8. Disc 3...some more songs, and a few Duets.....Eddie Vedder, Bonnie Raitt, Dave Mathews......Eddie Vedder, great stuff.....Another good disc

What about the 2006 SuperBowl halftime show? I thought it was pretty exciting with all of those people hiding under the undulating lips.

  9. If you really want the Rolling Stones video experience, check out Rolling Stones at the Max if it comes to your town. It's a 1991 concert recorded in the IMAX format and it's practically better than being there, what with the super video and audio resolution and the cameras being able to fly in close enough to show what brand of cigarette Keith is smoking, then back to the back of the hall to show the whole stage.

It played here at the IMAX theater in 2005 for nearly six weeks and was sold out almost every night.

I saw it in Baltimore. It was great.

  10. Disc number 2.....................1.5 Million people on a beach in Rio.........1.5 million deaf, and blind people dancing and singing along with the Old has-beens.........Damn, these old guys are pretty damn good, STILL..........Younger bands should take a lesson from the OLD PRO's........Again, what a bargain, 4 disc's for $30.00.....New from last years tour.....not 30+ years later....in DTS.....good camera work......but, if you don't like 'em, I can't help that.......Crank it up, listen to Keith and Ronnie wail those guitars, Charlie making that little drum set Snap with each beat...Old Farts...EH !!!

    Charlie is my favorite stone.

  11. My daughter took me to the indoor concert they did in Chicago. It was my 3rd Stones concert and her 1st. Great show! I hope I have as much energy as Mick has when I get that old, heck I don't have that much energy now!

It should be the other way around. You should be taking your daughter to the Stones shows.!!!
