I have a set of RF-7 series coming(fronts, center, rears) and I was wondering if my Marantz SR-8400 would be enough to power them. Later done the line, I would like to pick up a rotel amp, but for the time being I'm pretty tapped on cash....

What can I do to my RF-7s to dim the highs and up the lows? I've read that there is a crossover update that can be done. I'm pretty much a novice to speaker DIY, but I can follow directions. Also, I was thinking that this could be accomplished with a good EQ(or am I thinking wrong?) I am currently using an Marantz SR-8400 to power them. Any idea are appreciated.
