  1. Well... it was just a suggestion, using this guy. His F.B. is 100% at a total of 65 F.B.'s. His listing # 260079677753. Who really cares what was done as long as it works properly, right? You really think the repairs people at Klipsch will tell you what was done to repair it. What other options do we have.?
  2. There is a man on Ebay who advertises that he will repair The 5.1's for $100.00 including shipping. I asked about the 4.1's and he said he would also repair those. Just need to send in the GUTS of your Sub. He's out of Texas. Try him as an option.
  3. Any chance that some of or all of the parts in the 2.1 SUB can be used to repair the 4.1 ???
  4. Would you happen to have the actual label # of the FETS you replaced, Q4, Q5, which one. Where or how were you able to come up with the correct part #'s / values for thosw fets? Thanks Marc
  5. I would'nt worry too much about the differences you see. They are too small to amount to any REAL concern. It's equates a 1.01% difference. Enjoy the fact that you fixed it.
  6. Difficult to say without knowing the specs on the Cap. you removed / replaced. Can't hurt to try at this point.
  7. Terrific PC sound system, when it was working. Had to settle for a Bose Companion 3 set-up, no where near the performance of the 4.1's. I'de like to try and repair the 4.1 system if possible. Klipsch won't help, so hopefully one of you may have a suggestion or 2.<p> Here's the problem, The system no longer powers up from the main speaker ON/OFF button. No blown fues in the Sub and I did'nt notice any toasted components in the Sub. No schematics to trase the problem down and I don't want to trash the system. Any help? Thanks.
