I am interested. If it is in fine operating shape (I'm not too concerned about minor finish flaws), I'd pay $200-300 plus shipping.

Thanks. I really want to timbre match the Forte II's and I don't have room for another Forte II in the center so I will be patient.

How much for the KLF-C7?

How big a difference in sound between the Academy and KLF-C7 as a center for the Forte II's? It seems the KLF-C7's are cheaper and easier to find. The KLF-C7's seem like the equivalent follow-on to the Academy. What about the KG 2.2V's? They seem like a much cheaper alternative (not in the same class).

No room for another Forte. The center speaker gets placed about 12-14 inches above the television atop a built-in. not enough room to ceiling for a full-size speaker.

Presently using Forte II's for the mains. Looking for an Academy center. Any sellers?
