Welp, now it looks like that Creative DDTS 100 is discontinued...This seems a little conspiratorial. Maybe they don't want me to be able to listen to 5.1 sound from my laptop.

Thanks for the response, but I still can't see any promedia decoders on there, what did you search for? I found this though: http://us.creative.com/products/product.asp?category=4&subcategory=136&product=9468&nav=features and it has pictures here that make it seem like it does pretty much the same sort of thing as the DDs http://media.gear.ign.com/media/620/620558/img_1907055.html i just wish it didn't look so bad compared to the promedia

So, the DD 5.1 is discontinued, and believe it or not, there haven't been any available on ebay for the last month... What can I use as an alternative? I have a toslink out on my laptop, and I want to somehow connect my promedia 5.1 to it. How exactly do I do this?
