  1. I think I might leave it where it is and buy some mounts that swivel and try that. If I dont like the way that sounds then I might try the ceiling speakers. Thanks for all the imput.
  2. Here is the system that I have. A 5.1 system. Mains RF-82 Klipsch Center RC-62 Klipsch Surround RS-52 Klipsch Sub RT-12D Klipsch Receiver Denon AVR 2307 Do you think that I will need anything else like a AMP? I was just wandering because i have seen some of your systems and they seem to have 1, 2 and even 3 Amps. Just wandering what you thought. Thanks
  3. Where do yall buy your speaker mounts / brackets? I'm looking for some speaker mounts for the Klipsch RS-52's. Thanks
  4. Is this what you are saying. Hang the speaker down from the ceiling. Above the stairs?
  5. This is for a 5.1 system. Mains RF-82 Klipsch Center RC-62 Klipsch Surround RS-52 Klipsch Sub RW-12D Klipsch Receiver Denon AVR 2307 Where can you get the mounts? Thanks
  6. Here is another picture of the whole room. Thanks
  7. Here are a couple of pictures of what i am talking about. As you can see the rear speakers are not in the ideal spot. The speakers that I am looking at getting are the Klipsch RS-52's. Do they make a wall mount for hanging the speaker on that swivels. That way at least I could swivel the speaker to the living room instead of inbetween the living room and the breakfast area. Do you think that the placement of the rear speakers will sound ok in this placement. They will also be placed close to the ceiling as you can see in the picture. If you look close you can see the plate on the wall. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  8. Which one is better the RF82 or the RF7?
  9. I have about $1,500 to start building my HT. I was just wandering in what order you would buy the speakers. Would you buy the receiver and mains first, then the center then the rear speakers. When would you get the bass. Thanks
  10. I have heard that you can get more for your money if you go used instead of getting new. Where would you get used stuff around Houston Texas? When people talk about used are they talking about E-bay, pawn shops or where? Thanks
  11. The room is 19' x 18'. I am looking for a surround sound system. I prefer new (warranty).
  12. I am selling my house and am including the bose that I currently have with the house. So I want to get something new for the house. I dont want to send much more than about $1,500 if possible. I need everything receiver and speakers, I do have a sony dvd player. Do you think that this is doable? If so any recommendations on a reciever and speakers would be greatly appreciated. My dad currently has some Klipsch speakers for his surround sound and they sound louder as far as bass goes than my old Bose. I heard that you want to spend most of your money on the speakers and less on the receiver, is this what you would recommend. Thanks for any help I need all the help I can get last time i listened to the wrong person and spend $3,000 on a Bose Lifestyle 35. I dont want to make the same mistake again.
