  1. Thanks again for the help. As I said initially, I am putting speakers in the ceiling, facing downward. I was curious about the difference between the two, that is all. So IN-CEILING it is! I will return the IN-WALLs
  2. In-walls, even if they will be pointed downward?
  3. Thanks for the reply. Yes, they will be very sheltered. Pointing down along the wall that is 6 feet from the opening. No one will be directly underneath, normal sitting position is 5-10 feet out when not raining, and 3 feet when raining. (Or we read the newspaper inside!). I was more concerned about the difference in sound between the two. If I use the KHC-6s, I would even point the horn inward towards the wall, and get a bounce effect(?) if I had to. I could coat the grills with a clear spray of some kind to prevent corrosion, as I don't plan on painting them. Any recommendations?
  4. Does it really matter if I choose between in-wall or in-ceiling speakers? I have an outdoor sheltered application, and need to put speakers in the low (7 foot) ceiling, up against a 33 foot long wall. I am putting KHO-7s at each end, mounted vertically, canted in at a 45 degree angle. I need either the rectangular KHW-5, in-wall, Best Buy specials, near the center or the wall, 6-10 feet apart, but back against the wall, or the KHC-6 ceiling mount. (I cannot have them away from the wall, as the overhang is only 6 feet wide, and sitting directly underneath is not very pleasant!) Any advice? (I am driving via Zone 2 of a Denon AVR-3805 speaker outputs) Thanks - Paul
