  1. I just upgraded to an RC-62 and a pair of RB-81's for my fronts. The center's tweeter's voice coil opened up recently and I need to replace it. Now the question is why did it fail. I have a Yamaha RX-V2500 that is driving it that is rated at 130WPC. The center is rated at 150WRMS so it isn't an overpower condition. The next thing I thought about was maybe my AVR is producing distortion at higher volumes and that blew the tweeter. 1. Should I add a fuse inline to the wiring to the tweeter or would that even help if distortion is causing the problem? 2. Should I get a mono block amp like a Audiosource 200 that bridged will produce 250WRMS and hopefully eliminate the distortion. I am getting very flustrated so any help would be greatly appreciated. Hal
  2. Hi Chris, Thank you for your time in checking this out for me. This dealer is the only one in town that sells Klipsch and he doesn't stock them. Hopefully I can find an authorized dealer online. Some dealer is selling them on E Bay and I wrote him to see if he was authorized. He hasn't wrote back. My Yamaha center is less than a year old and Yamaha won't repair it because the online dealer I bought it from was authorized to sell their products from their store but not online. I doubt that I will ever buy a Yamaha product again.
  3. Hi Chris, Fancy meeting you here. I went to the local dealer and I came back more confused. He didn't think the difference between the RC-52 and the RC-62 justified the added expense and the hassle to get the RC-62 to fit in my stand. He also recommended the Proficient CC550 as an excellent center that would fit my stand. Any thoughts? Boy do I hate to shop sometimes, especially since they don't have any inventory that I could audition.
  4. I am going to purchase a RC-62 center but need help on selecting the fronts. Due to my room layout I need ones that can be wall mount (not in wall but external). Does Klipsch make any that can be mounted this way? Thanks,
