  1. What are you using for a pre/pro with that MPS-1? I have RF-7's and plan to order my MPS-1 in June. My current plan is to use my Yammie 2500 for pre/pro until the new flagship processor is released by Emotiva. Dave
  2. Thanks everyone. I just ordered the RF-7's. Should have them by next weekend. []
  3. Thanks everyone. I figured that I would need to upgrade to RC-7 either way. We are 95% movies and listen at moderate levels. Do you think my room is large enough for RF-7's?
  4. I have a 15' x 25' dedicated HT and have just completed accoustic treatments. Currently have RF-25's and RC-35 for front stage with 4 RS-25's. I am thinking of an upgrade on floorstands. I have been looking for a pair of black RF-5's and just came across a great deal on RF-7's. I think the 7's would overpower the rest of my system and am reluctant to purchase. I know there is a great deal of experience on this board and just looking for some advice. Thanks, Dave
  5. I have a dedicated HT 15 x 25 x 9. My speakers are RF-25 fronts, RC-35 center, 4 RS-25's for surrounds and RW-10 sub. I am currently driving them with a Yamaha RX-V2500 and considering moving to separates. I will initially use my 2500 as a pre/pro and have been considering the Emotiva MPS-1 amp. Will buy the new Emotiva pre/pro with HDMI 1.3 in Jan/Feb of 2008 when it is released. I intend to replace my sub next year as well and will probably add a pair of RB-25's as Axis speakers. Whew! Now to my question. I wonder do I need the 200 WPC of the MPS-1 or should I consider the IPS-1 at 150 WPC? Not sure I need 200 WPC to drive my system, but the IPS-1 does not offer balanced inputs. Any advise?
