I modified my existing Klipsch speakers about 6 years ago: KG 4.5 KG 2.2 AND KG 1.2. I bought a pair of KG 2.2 last week to use as rear affect. I called Klipsch and the parts department stated, that they did not carry the bucking magnets for the woofer and tweeter. Does any one know a good source for the correct size bucking magnet for the Klipsch KG 2.2 drivers. Madisound stated that they coud not suggest a size for the driver. I looked at my existing KG 2.2 for the size of the unit I did about 6 years ago, but I am not sure as to turn the existing size of the bucking in to specifications for a new magnet. Reveived Email from Klipsch Unfortunately we no longer stock the bucking magnets for the KG2.2. However, our tech guys have told me that the magnet for the woofer was a 14oz and for the tweeter it used a 2.8oz.
