I bought a pair of KG2s back in '87-'88 and used them up until a few years back when my reciever went out. They've been in a closet ever since. I'm thinking about setting them up in the garage and eventually running some outdoor speakers off of the same system. My question - do I need a reciever that is 4 ohms (I don't know an ohm from an uhhmm, so bear w/ me). I went looking to replace the reciever that blew out a few years back, and the guy at the store told me I need one that was capable of 4 ohm. Seems like only the more expensive ones have that capablity. So as a follow-up, if I do need a 4 ohm reciever, what should I be looking for in the <$200 range? Or, should I pick-up a used reciever off of Ebay? Keep in mind, I'm not anything of an audiphile. I can't differenciate/appreciate the difference in quality as I'm sure many of you here can.
