  1. <?XML:NAMESPACE PREFIX = O /> I'm trying to figure out the best hookup for both movie and music for the Yamaha HTR-5540 and the usbwoofer KSW-10. I hooked up the sub out from the receiver to the left input line on the subwoofer and the sound is not that great compare to my previous sub. I saw on the receivers some setup for speakers, to define them as small and large, also for the subwoofer to play on the main speakers and subwoofer but don't know what I need to change on the receiver in order to get the most from the KSW-10 I will appreciate any input and advice. Thanks in advance
  2. I am staring to set up a little home theater 5.1 with in-ceiling speakers. So far I have:<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Receiver Yamaha HTR-5540 R-5650-W on the front ceiling CDT-2650 for rear ceiling I am thinking of buying a used subwoofer KSW-10 I don't know what I can use for center speaker. I am thinking on an affordable one. I saw on EBay a Model KV-1 and a model KV2. Are they going to fit my setup? Or I need to buy something newer? If that's the case which one will fit my setup Thanks, GAB
  3. Hi Michael,<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Thank you very much for your response. I did not mean front wall, I mean on the front but on the ceiling. I already have 5 holes on the ceiling, 2 on the rear and 3 on the front. I wanted to know if the same model CDT-3650 can be use for this or I need to put other speakers on the ceiling/front? I want to have all the speakers on the ceiling. Other question I have is how important is the distance between the rear/front speakers on the ceiling to the center speaker. Is it better when the speakers are close? Now my room is 220 " L X 151 " W X 107" H Thanks, German

  5. Taking into consideration that I already have the pre wired installation in-ceiling and my budget (<$1000) for a 5.1 system. I would like to know if I can use the CDT-3650-C for the rear surround as well as front speakers. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> For the moment I am thinking on using the receiver Yamaha HTR-5540, sub YST-SW005 and central speaker from my old home theater system. I will appreciate any input and advice. I will use the 5.1 mostly for movies Thanks in advance
