  1. thankyou for the invite,I've been in limbo on what to do so I saw a pair of tube audio design mono blocks on agon and just got back from a road trip down south .......I alI can say is these amps made such a difference or (synergy) to my chorus 2s that I am going to hold off for now on building the cornscalas........I can say that if you want some nice mono blocks that have a tube sound without the maintenance, these are definitlely the way to go, not to mention the real world price........especially used..........thanks to all who responded.......Rock on Klipsch.....cheers[D]
  2. wow...between sootshe and JC i do not know if they are worth the time...2 very different opinions...I am going to find someone that has a pair before i start ,sootshe has a valid point, maybe those la scalas at my friends house need more play time with me in front of them, (must do more research).....thankyou for you're post.........wish those jubilees would fit in my living room[*-)]
  3. i going to buid a pair of these with bob crites help......how many of you think they are worth the time.......i love my chorus 1s and 2s but have the upgrade bug again.......i know im sick,do they give you the best of cornwalls and lascalas?.any info /help would be appreciated......also the demensions on the size of the enclosures, plus any other tweeks like larger woofers and mid range ect.........thanks......will do a step by step pics......
  4. thankyou for the replys I had a chance to get the the older quicksilvers that have the hard to find and expensive tubes but you all have made up my mind to go ahead and get the horn monos,I was looking for a sweet sound and the quicksilver seems to be a great product and Mike stands behind his gear+at great price........cheers...........klipsch website rocks
  5. anyone have experience in these amps....i am down to pulling the trigger on quicksilver horn monos,VTL TT25s,AES sixpacks,TAD hibachis or new tech channel islands m 100s...any and all help is greatly appreciated.........thankyou.......i am driving some chorus 2s with an adcom 545 (painful) at the moment.......[*-)]
  6. I am really enjoying the chorus 1s,they have all the bass I need and the mids + highs are smooth, not bright at all.The guy I bought them from had em' hook up to some yamaha stuff and boy, they almost drove me out of the room because they were bright as hell.I am looking for a nice tube integrated or mono's to go with them.My mf 500 sounds great with them, plenty of headroom but I am going to fry them if I get crazy on the volume. What is everyone's here favorite amp ,integrated ,etc. set up? I would really like to try a all tube setup..........These speakers are here to stay, the only other option is jub's,but that down the line a few years.......
  7. Houston,we have contact............I got some minty chorus 1 speakers, one owner....400 clams....I am in audio heaven, made the drive to ganesville, home of the Gators, pick them up and got home clean them up and hooked them up.........Saaweettt......Thanks to Billybob and Oldbuckster,I really appreciate all your help, this forum Rocks......Know anyone who wants a very good deal on some Tyler Linnbrook Signatures? ..................[ip][H]
  8. Hello oldbuckster,do chorus 1s sound close to corwalls or should I hold out for corwalls?
  9. Thanks billybob and oldbuckster I just got a lead on a pair ,I am not going to say any more as to not jinks the deal I have working.I've got my fingers and toes crossed......Please lord let it happen!!!!!!!!!! I let ya know if it happens,if not I still on the hunt.

  11. [ip]I have the itch to move on up the klipsch line.I have already had the ksp 400,then kg 400 ,now its time for some cornwalls or la' scalas .I need a new fix bad for I am going nuts after hearing a friends cornwalls. They sounded better than my Tyler Linbrooks signatures with my MF KW 500 pushing them.I am ready to sell all of that stuff and get a small tube amp and some kickass klipsch speakers of some kind. Will that Kw 500 MF be to much for the cornwalls or La'Scalas?[*-)]
  12. Thankyou very much GRB and Keith I think I will jump on them for 500.00.You sold me on my klipsch dream [D] cheers!
