  1. I have the Belkin PF60 shown here: http://catalog.belkin.com/PureAV_detail.process?Product_Id=178925 It has really good reviews, and you can find it consistently for under $200 shipped. Personally, I'm not a fan of overpriced Monster, so this is a very good alternative.
  2. Thanks for your suggestions! You are right that the Polks are not nearly as efficient. Assuming I decide to stick with Klipsch all the way around, should I save up for the RS-42s? Or would the RF-52s do very well for the surrounds as well (since I can get a great discount on them, plus I save on stands)? Thanks!
  3. Hey all, I'm a newbie here at the Klipsch forums, and I'm going to be purchasing a new set of speakers for my home theater this weekend (hopefully). I currently have an 8-year old Kenwood DTS receiver which is on its last leg, so I bought the new Onkyo TX-SR605 receiver and it should be here mid next week. I also have the almost decade-old Infinity RS3 bookshelves for my fronts, and the matching Infinity CC3 for the center. I'm looking to upgrade my system to a 5.1 though. Recently I checked out the Polk Audio speakers, Monitor 50s to be exact and I thought they were decent. I was planning on getting those for the fronts, matching center (CS1), surrounds (R150), and sub (PSW12). Then I went to another local store and listened to the Klipsch reference series and was blown away! Needless to say, I'm considering to get the RF-62s for my fronts, the RC-52 for the center, and the RW-10d as the sub. I was thinking about keeping my current Infinity RS3 bookshelf speakers and using them for my rears. Do you think that would work? The RS-42s seem to be pretty expensive for just being surround speakers. However, I'm able to get a great deal on the RF series, so perhaps I can buy a pair of RF-52s or 62s for the surrounds as well? What do you guys suggest and recommend from your experiences? Thanks in advance for your help! I'm hoping to buy the speakers this weekend, so a prompt reply would be greatly appreciated!
