Rely! a downward fireing subwoofer will actualy sag overtime? to what degree and severity? LOL i never thought about that!

Ahhhhh, thank you for understanding my problem! I now have a working sub woofer! So thank you everyone for your help! I took a single rca and from my reciever i plugged it into my sub 12's red rca input. Is everyone following me? now i have no idea why the owners manual instructed me to use the low level LFE input when it wouldnt work. i went to work the next day after 3 hrs the previous night, of fiddiling LOL argg. and realized that thats the way most of the subs where conected! ( when i say subs i mean our Klipsch brands) But im pretty sure oldman, or anyone else will have a coment! lol Thanks! all my speakers are large and are set to large on the reciever!. but i still have the reciever sending all low level freq's to the sub, as well as to the large speakers. It sounds great! and i am an audiophil whether i am knowledgable or not! and OLD MAN, a sub woofer will recieve a stereo signal, and depending on the internal amp and crossover points, will play that signal jusssssssssssttt fine bud []

If you READ my POST you will find that it was originaly had my sub conected with a y spliter. i got it to work, but if you are going to be a sarcastic ***.... post somewhere else. i read the owners manua first thing. l am not some dumbass.

When i got home i un hooked my old, make due sub and plugged in my new Sub 12 with a montser 1000 audio cable, and a Y split, also monster quality. Now all the settings on my Dennon 587 are correct for the "Pre Out" settings, but i get no sound from the Sub 12, nor a signal in that case. My older subwoofer works great when i simply un plug the cables from my Sub 12 and put them into the old sub. Now i know the Sub 12 actualy works because i had it conected as per the manuel states "HIGH LEVEL" Running wire (from my recievers Speaker side B on my amps out put) into the subs wire inputs and i got sound... Also by conecting my ipod directly into the RCA inputs, and THE SUB POUNDS! Again the problem is the Sub 12 wont reconize my recievers signal! So the problem is!!!???? Please help, any comments will due! P.S im a serious audiophile..
