  1. I suppose I failed to mention that. I am using the largest tip. The medium does not seal at all and the double flange ones feel like they are about to pierce my brain. I had a previous pair of IEM (Ultimate Ears ones) and with them used the smallest tip.
  2. I have the Custom-2s and have no issue getting a good seal...as long I stand still. Once I start moving around and especially start smiling, the seal is gone, most notably in my right ear. I exercise a lot and keeping that seal has proven difficult. I spent 200 on these things and would like to keep them. If I cannot figure out this seal issue, are they returnable? I only ask because I bought them about 1 and a half months ago and cannot send them back easily because I am in Iraq. Thanks for the help!!!
  3. I recently got the Custom-2s in place of the Ultimate Ears Metro.fi2s. I had some issues with those and opted for the Klipsch set. I was using the smallest silicon ear thingy on the UEs and have to use the largest ones on the Klipsch. This seems odd to me. Also, the bass on the UEs was more in-your-face than on the Klipschs, which also seems odd given that they are better and people are "wowwed" by them. Further, when I smile or breath heavily (I run a bit since I'm in the military), the seal seems to break. I can live with not getting the bass whbile running due to running, wind, etc. But if I'm just listening to music or watching a movie and have to laugh or smile, I dodn't want to have to reseat the entire thing by pulling on my ear and jamming them in. I have no doubt that these are good headphones, I'm just wondering if anyone can give me tips/advice on setting them up for use. Thanks.
  4. I recently bought a set of Ultimate Ears Metro.Fi 2s. I am in the military and run a good deal. I enjoy the earphones, but you can hear everything through the cord. By this I mean, you can hear it hit your chest when running, zipper of a jacket, wind, you name it. Great earphones excpet for this. I own a set of Klipsch computer speakers and love them! I am considering a set of custom-1 or -2s. Can anyone comment on the cord noise or lack thereof? Also, a comparison between the two? Thanks!
