I don't know know what kind of signal the motherboard is sending. It sends a sequential multitone sound through each speaker channel in the speaker setup. So, if I click on the left front speaker in the control panel, the sound comes out of the left front speaker. If I click on the right front speaker in the control panel, the sound comes out of the right front speaker. This also happens for the left rear, right rear, and center speakers. The only difference is when I click on the subwoofer speaker in the control panel, the sound comes out of the left and right front speakers with the new (foxconn destroyer motherboard) instead of from the subwoofer.
When I connect a different set of speakers (logitech g51s) to the new motherboard, I do not have this problem. The following occurs: If I click on the left front speaker in the control panel, the sound comes out of the left front speaker. If I click on the right front speaker in the control panel, the sound comes out of the right front speaker. This also happens for the left rear, right rear, and center speakers. The only difference is when I click on the subwoofer speaker in the control panel, the sound comes out of the subwoofer only, I don't hear any other sound from the front speakers like when I use the Klipsch set.
The subwoofer is set to 00 on the control pod for either speaker set. If I turn the subwoofer up to like 10 on the control pod then I get bass from the Klipsch subwoofer but I still get sound from the two front speakers. If I do that with the Logitech speakers, the sound is only output from the subwoofer but it is louder at 10 than at 00.
Hope that makes more sense.
