  1. I am considering one of the RF theater systems for my family room. Would I be able to play my IPod through these systems? If so what would I need to accomplish this?
  2. Thank you so much. I really like the sounds of the built in speakers, but sounds like for my room design and ceiling height, I should probably go with the floor speakers for the best sound. I realize I will not be able to achieve a "theatre quality" sound with what I have to work with, I would just like to have a great sound that I can listen to at low volumes or blasting, and still HEAR CLEARLY. I have read some of the reviews on a couple of the theatre systems which have helped me a great deal to understand just what I am supposed to be looking for. You guys have helped a lot as well. Thanks.
  3. Islander...I am just looking for opinions and information. I know my room layout is not the ideal for a good sound system, so I am looking for the best reasonable set up I can achieve. Yes, I know there must be some women on this forum, like myself...and, dissapointment didn't enter into it one way or another...just looking for advice and info.
  4. No prejudice, sweetie, it's just the way my room is designed, they will interfere with walkways and furniture placement.
  5. I'm a newbie, so please be patient! I have a new home and want a system for my Sony Bravia 40" flat screen LCD. My room is approx 18' X 16'. A 19' cathedral ceiling as well. Large 12' windows to the left, a built in fireplace to the front. Each side of the fireplace has built in cabinets (which will house my TV) open doorway to the right as well as an open staircase leading up. Behind me is a large 8' archway leading to the kitchen. Is there ANY system and placement that would accomodate my situation? I have had a gentleman from Best Buy come to the house and tell me to use Klipsch F2 speakers, C2 center chanel, with S2 surround speakers, with Synergy Sub-10 or 12. He has indicated that because my TV will be at the side of the fireplace, using this system, I would be able to adjust the system adequately to sound quite well. I really don't want to have the huge speakers setting out into the room, so I am wondering if I would be able to build these speakers into the wall cabinets and still get good sound? Tell me what you think, please.
