  1. I have a KV-2 center channel and seem to have a hard time understanding what people are saying on movie soundtracks. I found a used RC-7 available for $275. Would that be a good choice for my situation?? Many thanks! RB
  2. I have a KV-2 as my center channel and think that voices sound muffled while watching DVD's. I am using a Denon 2802 receiver. I am no stereo tech but I am wondering if it may be the horn that was used in the KV-2. According to the Klipsch specifications, it is an "exponential cone". Most of the new center channel speakers seem to feature tractrix horns. Does anyone know if a tractrix horn would be superior to an exponential cone for listening to voices (which I believe are part of the midrange)? RB
  3. I have adjusted the center channel level but the KV-2 always sounds somewhat muffled. I think the horn may be the problem, which means the KV-3 wouldn't be much of an improvement (since it uses the same tweeter). I would like to upgrade but can't justify the huge cost of something at the C-7 level. RB
  4. I currently have a KV2 center speaker but it seems hard to understand dialogue while watching DVD's. I am starting to think that the KV2 just isn't enough speaker for my set-up. Any opinions on the KV2 and/or suggestions for a better center speaker?? Perhaps a KV3 (I've seen a few on Craigslist). I am using a Denon 2802 receiver. Many thanks!
