with that budget go seperates. I would not get 08 models. They had a glitch which alot of people were sending their units in for repair. Huge thread over at AVS.

I think I would go look at projector people or visual apex. Expensive projector like that deserves something better than a cheap hanger. lol

I like the deep blacks in a plasma, but I always steered away from them because of the plasma BUZZ.

well of course. using teeny tiny wire, the resistance will be greater. You dont really have to ever worry about keeping distances the same unless you are running long runs which are different. Like one that is 75 foot and the other 10 foot. You could use something like 10 gauge on the long distance to cut down on the resistance.

I would double check your wiring, plus make sure you are using the right size wire(#16 or better) of equal lengths(or close ± 2").
You dont have to keep your wiring equal distances. For most people, this is impossible. If that was the case, we would all have problems.

well first off, you arent going to find a AVR that will power your speakers at their 150 rated watts. Distortion is what damages speakers.
Onkyo, Denon, Marantz are all good brands and should be looked into.
I know they have the onkyo 809 on sale at newegg for $649 which is a great deal.

you can get them for about $1900-$2000 a pair though.

lol. it comes with the galaxy spl meter i bought which was taken apart and calibrated for me.

I have a SPL meter with a fuzzy cover for wind, but never seen a Audyssey mic with it.
