49 GB halfway through loading CD Collection. 5 GB in High Rez, three Max converted from FLAC to AIFF.

Pure Music / iTunes 1650 Songs, 4.7 Days.

99% of time there are less than 10 albums in active rotation but using iPad Remote has rasied this from 3 - 4 albums in active rotation.

I love the high Rez files 24/96 really approaches vinyl or live but I am impressed how good 328kbps MP3 sounds compared to 1,400kbps of CD.

I do not worry about your Engineering.

I could hear a dB on Test Tone with mutiple freqs when setting up a Suround system.

But when doing the plots on my system with Stereophile test cd I was hard pressed to hear 1 - 2 dB when stepped up at 1/3 octave intervals, and my experianced Ears seemed to need a little extra near 16k . . .

I could raise my sqauwker 2 dB to get a really flat response in my room but I love the bass and need the extra up high, too many years in the factories or maybe it was that Deep Purple Concert in the 90s. . .

Would this fit in a La Scala Cabinet?

I have Dave's Fastracs and JBL Tweeters sitting on top of La Scala Cabinets.

If this sounds at least as good as that combo with out having tweeters sitting on top of my cabinets -- count me in.

Modifying the motor board would not be an issue as long I could keep the exterior of the cabinet in tact.

So an "Average" engine that is rated at 300HP is closer to 315 HP.

I thought maybe Burr Brown does something similiar, or as suggested Moon might do some screening and have all the other components be really good?

Can someone who understands more about electronics explain how the Moon 300D can be rated at 116 dB for Dynamic range but the DAC, Burr Brown PCM1793, it uses is rated at 113 Dynamic Range by it's manufacturer, Texas Instruments?
