Looks like the amp is bad. I called Klipsch and I have to ship just the amp pulled out of the sub box and it costs $60, flat rate to repair and return to me.

I cam home from Easter trip to have my Promedia 5.1 Ultras screeching and distorting sound. I have pulled the amp, but can not find any noticable damage. Any suggestions? I have already tried making sure there was no ground loop and plugged directly into the wall. I have had these wonderful speakers for years and would hate to have to buy a new set.
