  8. Yeah Im excited i pick them up on the tenth ! ill let you know what i think of them !
  9. I'm hoping i am pleased. I havent hear them before i just hear rave reviews about them, i love the klipsch sound and have rb-61's rc-52 and rs-42's and have had the urge to upgrade. I'm hoping they will be worth it and i wont want to upgrade for a while! (plus i picked up a slightly damaged rc-64 for 25 dollars (i think it was stolen) the crossover was still intact along with one woofer i just purchased three new drivers from klipsch and it sounds amazing !
  10. 800 for the pair ! World wide stereo in ardmore pa ! they were demo units with under 50 hours played full warranty in prestine condition !
  11. So i pulled the trigger on the rf-83's today my dealer got me them for 800$ with a deal like that i had to do it!
  12. I was told by my world wide stereo rep today that the new models will ship at the end of the month and it will consist of RF-82II and RF-7II and RF-62II
  13. So i was on ebay andand saw and rc64 and rf82 damaged as is for parts (obviously from shipping), he wanted 200, and after talking he came down to 50 and i went to pick them up. after taking them home the rf-82 was garbage minus the crossover, but the 64 seemed to be in decent shape minus three woofers were busted. i checked the cross over it is in good shape and the box has minor scuffs. I want to fix the scuffsand dents. Can i sand the 64 and refinish it. or should i just say what ever and deal with the scuffs ans scratches.
  14. You think it will make that much of a difference with the rf-35's?
  15. Hey guys, I have the itch to upgrade!, and have been looking for rf-82's used in the phila area for months now with now luck. I recently came upon rf-35's in prestine condition for under 400. I have seriously been thinking about this deal. This is what i have now (2) rb-61 (2) RS-42(1) rc-52 (1) rw-10d. So the question is such. Will i notice a different sound being that they are the ref III model. 2. Will i care about the Difference. 3. how much different are they from the 82's Thanks in advance!
  16. i actually already have the rc 64 rs 42's and rb61's im looking for a 7.1 and was looking at the rf 82's i purchased everything at a huge discount casue i work for best buy so i take it the majority says go for the 82's
  17. which should i purchase? and what is the major differences betweer the two
  18. they limit what speakers you can buy like you can buy all of the syngery series speakers but can only buy like the rf -82's nothing higher then that so mindline reference series like i couldnt buy the rb 81's the best sub they had was the rw12 d so there are limitations so as far as bi amping yours saying gain some more knowledge before i jump into trying to do it. any good places where i can aquire some info about this type of thing
  19. yeah i know when i ordered the speakers if i ordered them on monday they were here by thursday or friday so it really wasnt a bad wait
  20. well the store its self is cost plus five but they have manufacture accomadations where we order these items directly from klipsch for instance and we get them below cost. like i got my yamaha reciever for like 365 instead of the 900 dollars its kinda nice they pay well great discount and they work around my school sch
  21. haha its a little better then that about 20 for monster 800 series but it was nice for the discount on the speakers like i got the pair of rb 61's for like 150
  22. well i work at best buy and can order anything from a manufacture(my spelling sucks) even if we dont carry the item and get a huge discount on it
  23. okay so im pretty new to this whole thing .im 19 and i love music alot (not to give you my life story) . i heard how amazing the klipsch speakers were and fell in love with them. So decided to purchase them. my system is as follow : front l&r are rb-61's rear surrounds rs-42's center rc-62 and sub rw 12d hooked up to a yamaha 883 105 per channel rms so i was wondering the whole purpose of biamping, if its worth doing and if so what i need to do to do it any and all replies would be amazing thanks in advance
  24. i have not picked a reciever as of yet either, so if you have any thoughts on that it would be greatly appreiciated as well
  25. ok so i recently purchased a set of klipsch speakers containing rc-52 rb-61 and rs 42's i was wondering if anyone had any thoughts as to what sub i should purchase. I work at best buy so i get a nice discount on things. Also a decent reciever. The room is very small ( i know the setup is over kill ) its about 8X16. Thanks in advance Deluss
