choona

So I've been trying to figure this out on other forums - it first started when I thought I could hear the CPU processing through the speaker - eg when the CPU would be processing something heavy I could "hear" it amplified through the speakers. People started suggesting a faulty mini-jack... but now, my right speaker (one w/ control) is making static noise when the volume is turned up, even when no sound is on. add this to my left speaker, which I know I blew, and I have a pretty worthless set of speakers! I'm sad, these babies treated me well. Any suggestions on what I should do? Get a new set? Or is there parts here worth salvaging? Thanks
