  1. Hi, I'm in the process of re-loading a pair of Vintage LaScala's, and am currently looking for 2 - 15 " drivers. What are people recommending for this? I don't listen to heavy metal, mostly classical. Any suggestions would be muchly appreciated, Thanks. Blair.
  2. Hello folks, Brand new to the forum, but I've been lurking around here for awhile. I've just purchased a pair of 70's Black LaScala unloaded boxes. I am intriqued by the following for these speakers, and although I am not a builder or anything, as a piano technician, I am interested in the structure and design of the folded horn. I decided to buy unloaded cabinets primarily because I can't afford to spend a lot, but rather want to "piece by piece" assemble a respectable pair of speakers. I don't have any other klipsch drivers, but I do have 2 mid range horns from a Seeburg jukebox that are the same size and material. I don't know if they'll be suitable. I'll be looking for crossovers, and drivers for these cabinets. any advice would be very greatly appreciated. I don't have the greatest amp in the world, it is an older Luxman, the one that had the 2 tube output built in the early 90's. I live in Canada, and that has proven to be a huge obstacle because shipping 125 lb's of speakers would have been extremely expensive, however, individual components are not that bad. I was fortunate to find these cabinets in Canada, and the shipping empty was only $180 for the pair through Fedex. I've been reading a lot of the other posts, and man you guys have a lot of knowledge, and some pretty fine equipment. Any advice for loading these cabinets and suggestions for driving them would be much appreciated. Tunerguy.
