I do that with my home stereo sub. I guess the same could apply here.

I just got my promedia 5.1's set up that I got from a friend. When I turn the power on I get a thump throught the subwoofer. My friend has another set at his home and says that his does the same thing. Is this normal? I've tried turning the volume down with no luck. Thanks
