Nice job.
Is that mid horn also by Selenium?
Yes, it is... and I like it a lot.

This sounds alot like a project of mine. Can you please post a picture of the crossover?
Thanks,

Now we need everyones advice on how to fly them.
The goal is to be:
Near the ceiling. (upside down)
Adjustable for the angle.
And without too much (if any) motification to the cabinet.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Tony

You could always unscrew one of the tweeters and flip it over to match the other. It won't make any sonic difference, but it might make you feel better just knowing they "match". Sometimes, things like that annoy me too.

Can somebody give me a (simple) comparsion between these two crossovers? I know the E is in the Heresy and the HIE is in the Industrial Heresy, but what about the technical differences.
Thanks,
Tony

The tweeter can be mounted either way... upside down or right side up. It's the same either way.

I think I'm going to be ill.

Maybe Mr. Bob will jump in and let us know. That's probably a decent price.
I wonder what it would cost for Bob Crites to build them from scratch.

I found out the crossovers are still available for $72.55 each.

Well... I learned something today. I wonder if the HII crossovers are still available from Klipsch.
Thanks to everyone.

I'm looking at some Heresy II crossovers on Ebay. The pictures show the crossovers mounted on the terminal cups. I thought all the E2's were mounted on their own wood block. Has anybody seen this before or know anything about this?
Thanks,

I'm still not clear on how you wire 2 four ohm woofers in parallel and get an eight ohm speaker. Please help a simple mind understand this.
Thanks,

I have wondered about this... I hope more people chime in.

Yep... that is exactly the info we needed.
Thanks to all,

Dennis,
Would you mind saying more about your post. I'm not sure I'm understanding.
The box volume of 2 - 2.5 feet I understand. How is it tuned to 50hz? Does the port do that?
Also, the $70 is referring to a particular woofer? The 12' Eminence Beta?
Daddy Dee,
Remember that: Box Volume + Port Size + Port Length/Depth = Box Tuning
OK... let's say we've settled on box volume. How do you calculate port size and length for a certain frequency?
Thanks,
Tony

Woo hoo... this is good news!

If you have extra "stock", I'd be interested in some K22's or KP22's.
Thanks,

I think I can safely say that any drivers, help, advice and/or opinions is appreciated.

Doc,
I guess the term "center" speaker is a little misleading. We were just using that term because it's meant for the middle of the stage. We were thinking "mono" all along.
Thanks,
Tony

Terry,
I might be interested in the K24. How much do you want for it?
Thanks,

Now officially looking for a used (inexpensive) pair of K22's or K24's.
Thanks,

Has anybody out there tried a woofer (any woofer) other than the Klipsch woofers for the Heresy I or Heresy II? Is there anything out there even close?
Thanks,
Tony
