  1. Assuming 50 for shipping, that would put the whole price around 250, which, after my research, appears to be cheaper than most could hope to find the speakers available for new in box. As I said in the post anyways, the price is negotiable. Thanks again for the bump, troll.
  2. which makes this a good deal for somebody with the patience to go through with that thanks for the bump
  3. Recently had my promedia 5.1 sub die on me and after some headaches I have given up on having it repaired. I'm selling the sub, control pod, sats, cables - all the hardware that came with the system new. FYI this is not the ultra, but the first 5.1 version. Sats and pod work well. Buyer pays shipping, price is negotiable, but I'm thinking around 80+ shipping for the whole kit. reply to justin.sharpley at gmail.com
  4. Hey, I've got a set of original pm 5.1s...and a ps3. I'd like to get 5.1 audio out of them from the ps3 output.... any suggestions? I've had a hard time locating a klipsch digital decoder or a creative digitital decoder...the only two options I have come across. Any suggestions? thx, Justin
  5. would the digital decoder work with the 5.1 non ultras? and would you be willing to sell that separately?
  6. i found the dealer locator but thats about it. im going to call some of them to see if they know about or are able to fix them. update: for anyone in the kitchener-waterloo area, heres some info for a store that is willing to take a look at repairing promedia's (taken from dealer locator): NATURAL SOUND 645 VICTORIA STREET N KITCHENER, ON N2H 5G3 CANADA Phone: 519-744-3111 Fax: 519-744-8577
  7. Well, it seems like I'm not the only one with 5.1's dying these days, as a quick jaunt through the forums showed me. I've emailed Elliott to see about getting them repaired (the sub works, the headphone jack works, but the sats are absolutely silent - with multiple sound cards and an ipod). Any advice/suggestions from you folks out there would be appreciated as I might have missed something while reading through this forum. To Klipsch/Amy in particular: my speakers are out of warranty, but can you do anything for me? Perhaps arrange an exchange at a local dealership for a pair laying around? I'm up in Canada so I'd like to avoid a whole mailing fiasco if possible because that on its own would be nearly the cost of a new pair of speakers. Justin
