I posted this question on another forum I visit and some suggested this group may be a much better resource.... It has been a long time since I followed this hobby too closely. I am looking to replace my current B&K mono amps and PS Audio pre (having problems with this and PS Audio tells me it is too old to repair) with an integrated amp. My two sources are a Sony DVP S9000es and a Music Hall mmf-5 turntable. I listen about equally to vinyl, CD and SACD. We have a 20+ year old pair of Klipsch Forte speakers which my wife loves and are not going any place. My listening is classical, blues, gospel and rock. My wife loves her music loud and with a lot of power. Any advice on where to start would be appreciated. We have no boutique audio stores within a 1 1/2 hour drive. My budget is under $2000.
