I have the AL type. I've read a lot about Al's ALK network. I'd like to build a new set just for fun. I'd like to soften the midrange a little. Are any of the parts compatible in the AA type? The ALK is too expensive for me at this time. Any suggestions? Thanks, E. ------------------ EJH

I freaked when I saw the plant on top. My original birch finish was damaged by a leaking plant. I found some birch laminate to place on top and now they are stained and waxed. Your poly coating is good idea but I would lose the plant. After the damage and pain I suffered my wife agreed. By the way, I love the beveled look!
