Thanks to everyone for all the responses. I listed to a variety of music this past weekend and some have hiss and some do not. The sensitivity of the LS are just different than what i am used to listening to. They are awesome speakers.

I have a pair of Forte II and KLF 30s also. Just never notice it with these. I have two adcom 200w x2 amps currently connected to the KLFs and the LS.

Just bought a pair of la scalas used. It seems like the tweeters have a little bit of hiss on certain songs. Any ideas on what could be causing this?
