I ordered it also. I received an email yesterday from Amazon, saying it shipped. I like a lot of her work. Live In Paris DVD is amazing. I do not have that CD and now that it was mentioned that it is different from the DVD, I may have to get it. We'll see how Quiet Nights is, I am looking forward to it.
I'm going to have to say, bad lighting, photography, hair and all, I still think she looks HOT~! Might be those come hither eyes and smile!!! []

USBPhonoPlus v2
Dang, the pic didnt come thru, sorry guys.
This is the one that I have, it has a headphone jack in it.
Havent gotten around to swapping out that cartdidge yet, but will let you know how it sounds when I do . I bought a cable at Radio Shack to go from the preamp to my computer, $32, I only paid63 for the preamp. Then I got the parts express mailer the other day and they have a longer cable for $8. DOH!!, so I ordered the Parts Express, and am going to return the RS unit.
This one?
........and it still plays quieter than the CD player, with the gain turned all the way up?
I guess mine is a little quieter than the CD player, too. So I guess it is normal. Keep us posted, I am interested in how you like that cartridge.

LOL - We sure are Dennie. Not much has been going on over at S&V, especially since Altec has left the scene. Hope all is well.
Yeah, I noticed it has slowed down. I am sure he will be back, he always comes back. Like a lot of us. Sometimes one just needs a break!
I not only found some of the best speakers ever made, my La Scala's, I also found one of the best forums ever! []

If you are looking for good drumline's, I would look at corps like the Blue Devils, Santa Clara Vanguard, Cadets of Bergen County, or the Cavaliers. These corps traditionally have had top of the line drum corps. Cavaliers were always my favorite.
Youtube has a lot of good previews of different corps.Hey Lakedmb, Good to see you! You're a long way from S & V, but so am I! LOL
I would have to agree with YOUTUBE, they have some amazing Drum Line previews.

What is the specific model of phono preamp?
Dave
Good for you Rich. I also wonder which one you have?
I bought this one and am using it with my ELAC Miracord TT. Works fine for me. It has an adjustable gain, which may be what you need.
It is the Artcessories DjPre II.

Hey Richard, Thanks so much. All but one of the records are in great shape. 4 were in like new condition and only 1 was obviously used.
I am thrilled with my take and I will be putting a check in the mail in the next day or two.
Again, thanks so much for all of your time and work. I appreciate it very much.

I am hiding in the man cave waiting on the lady to go to bed so I can sneak the 2nd pair of Lascallas in the door that I bought today.
LOL Sneak and La Scala rarely go together! LOL Especially when it is your SECOND PAIR!!! [:@]
Win, you are moving up the audio chain faster than a speeding bullet! Maybe you need a "Superman" avatar! []
Congratulations and you will be in my prayers! But just in case......what is your address so I can get there first, if the wife finds out! []

RF-35s and Pioneer VSX-915
in 2-Channel Home Audio
Posted
Hey Bartender! Give me another Scotch and Soda!!! LOL Just Joking, I couldn't resist!
Congratulations on the Pioneer! Remember it is far from thier top of the line, but with that said, it is not a bad HT receiver. I reccomended it to a friend on a tight budget and he is quite happy with it. He wishes it had more power, but for $399 (I think) he can't expect too much from it. I gave him an old Adcom 555 amp I had setting around and at 200 wpc his polk speakers now sing with life.
I can't speak to the RF-35's, but my Pioneer Elite sounds beautiful with my La Scala's. I think you would benefit with a powered sub, not that the speakers lack bass, but it will pick up the bottom end, where the Pioneer may be lacking in power. Or, consider finding a used 2 channel amp, and use the pioneer as a processor. Check your local Craiglist or Ebay for an amp. You can probably find one cheaper than a sub.
Good luck and keep us posted,
Dennie
