Is there a way to figure out manufacturing date by looking at serial number?

Looking for advice on what I should ask for a set of la scalas that I purchased new in the early 80’s in good condition and I believe they have the aa crossover

I have a set of Klipsch Lascala's that I purchased new in 1980 or 81. They were unfinished birch and I finished them with a walnut stain and heavy polyurethane. They have been unused for the past 10 years and taking up space in spare room. They are in great shape except for a few nicks where the wife has hit with vacum near the bottom. wanting to see if there is anyone who could advise on what I should ask for them. Any help would be appreciated.
