Hi there. Like many here, my ProMedia 2.1 THX subwoofer has died after some years of faithful service. And also like many Europeans here, it's nearly impossible for me to replace it unless I shell out big for oversees package fares and get one from the states (stores/sites/outlets just don't have ProMedia 2.1's here for some reason). However, I just found a GMX-A 2.1 subwoofer somewhere. This sub comes with all the wiring necessary to hook it up to my computer, including the control pod, and it only lacks the satellites. This subwoofer looks largely the same as the 2.1 THX one, so I was wondering if I could just hook up the 2.1 THX satellites to this sub and get it to work well. That is, without it dying on me 2 months later because this combination somehow put too much strain on one component or other. Any advice on this? Thanks! P.S.: Any tips on how to acquire a new sub are welcome too!

If you could just put some wire sets up on ebay or something this week that would be really great. I'm a little bit anxious to get my set working again
