  1. I know I've read some stuff about his in other post's, but most of the threads are filled with people complaining about Klipsch and not too many answers are given so I'll just post my situation and see if anyone can help. I have a set of the Alienware ALX Klipsch 5.1 Speakers (there most likely the same design as the Ultra 5.1 since they have the same exact controller and sub when looking at the pictures). Everything has worked fine for almost 3 years and several different computers. I just finished building a new PC about 2 months ago, put Vista 64-Bit on it and everything has been fine (using a Creative SoundBlaster Fatality Card). Yesterday I was watching some videos while doing some work, when I finished I shut down my computer like normal and went to sleep. When I turned on my computer this morning there was no sound coming out of the speakers at all (not even a hum or crackle to signify a blow out), but when I plug my headphones into the controller and switch to HP mode, I get sound coming through my headphones. I tried plugging the speakers into my iPod to check if there was a connection problem but I got the same problem (no sound out of speakers but sound out of headphones). I haven't tried a different set of speakers yet, will do when I get home from work, but I have a funny feeling that something died or burnt out during the night when I had shut down the computer. Should I just start unscrewing the Sub and check the fuse or check for burns or should I just send the sub back to Klipsch? Is there any other issues that could cause this problem or anything that I could check first to make sure this is the culprit and not something else? Any help would be great, Thanks.
