  1. Thanks for the reply Dave. The listening area of the room is roughly about 15' x 20'; however, it is a great room that opens up to the kitchen area. The ceilings in the room are vaulted, about 16 feet high. It is a very open area with narrow walls (almost column like). The room has a built-in drywall entertainment center with a fireplace right underneath the TV. The only center speaker that fits this configuration is an in-wall on the drywall fireplace mantle. I am hoping for 50/50 music/movies. I am a newbie at this, so I have no clue how low a subwoofer should go. I think it would be mainly used for movies. Let me know if this is enough info. Thanks for your help.
  2. Greetings everyone! I am in the process of putting together my first 'real' home theater. Due to the size constraints of the room, the center and surround speakers, have to be the R-5502-W In wall speakers. I have no other choice. I do not know what would be the best front speaker and subwoofer combination that will complement these in-wall speakers. It seems there are too many tower/shelf speakers and subwoofers choices available. My AV receiver is a Denon 3808 ci. Any suggestion/help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
