trying to figure out which front speakers i need?

i have listened to the f-3's at work and they sound very nice but the speakers themself are very large....would an f-1 still be sufficient for my room size? -
My current setup is sony 40 1080, sony bdps350 blu ray, monster 2600 power center, onkyo txsr606 receiver, c-3 center, ss.5 surrounds. I have a 10 by 12 room. should i go with floorstanding or should i go with bookshelf? this is only for movies no music
