  1. Thanks, I wanted to point out you'll want to use the XPA-2 to power your RF-83's and use the XPA-5 for your center and surrounds. The XPA-2 is a little better and more powerful so that is why it is the best to use with your front mains. That's the plan Rich!!!
  2. Thats great news Rich. I did get a quick chance to plug my RF 83 into the XPA-5 for a split second. I did not turn it up at all but I could tell that there was more authority with the speakers.
  3. Thanks, Rich its either option1 or 3 for me so I got to work on a trigger option hopefully with the Harmony one remote.
  4. No not yet may be a few more days. I am waiting for some cables and longer power cords I ordered and I am going to order an audio rack to put the stuff in. This stuff is so heave I only want to move it once. If you know what I mean.
  5. So you are also saying that if I dont use the 12v trigger the amps will still power on as long as they are in standby? How long does that take?
  6. Thanks Rich_Guy! I will have to experiement with setting up a macro, never did it! I will also look into getting the Harmony one to do it. I am sure someone has done it in here already.
  7. I wonder if I can 12v trigger these with my onkyo 706 and use a y cable as well? The 706 has a 2nd zone 12v trigger. Does anyone know if it will work and if I can get my Harmony one to activate the trigger when I power up the amp??
  8. Well they now hired another independant carrier to bring it out today. I will see what happens.
  9. I just got a call from the freight co. and Guess what? They forgot to load it on the truck to deliver it today![:@]
  10. My Amps have arrived!!!!!!! But now I am headed in for back surgery!! LOL
  11. Yea, I like the first silver glass one that we saw. just wodering if it will work and support the weight. The amps should be here in a couple of hours, along with my 3rd replacement for my RC 64 Cherry Center that the shipping companies keep damaging.
  12. I have not post about my RC 64 Cherry but I am due to receive my 3rd one today. However the Freight Co. caused some damage to the box in Ohio so who knows if this one will survive!!! The company I bought from has been fantastic in dealing with this shipping nightmare. 2 time UPS and now a freight Co. The company I purchased from is on the Klipsch authorized sellers page and its www.wwstereo.com I can not say enough about Emily who has been handling my nightmare. If you are looking for anything you may want to give them a look. They have been great. I cant blame them for anything after all its the shippers that are causing me the grief. They are bending over backwards to please me and make it right and even rushed the second one to me on Christmas Eve. I will let you know when I unbox this one if its survived the rough handling of the shipping Co.
  13. How about this one, you can even add two more shelves later down the line if you want. I know it doesn't have the glass shelves but it will support the massive amps that you are getting. James James that is the other one I am also looking at. I also am concerned about the weight and the 19" depth of these things. The black shelf one I think had cable managment on the back and I do not know if it will come off if I need the extra room for the amp depth I think the widest part was 18.5" and thats at the curve not sure about the outside of the curve.
  14. That is the same site I was looking at!! I am thinking about one on the 1st page for $176 a walker stand, but itdoes notsay what the shelf weight rating is?
  15. I will check it ouot wit all the money I have spent already I really dont want to go much higher than $200.00.
  16. Mine ared on the truck for "out for delivery" to my my home
  17. Anybody have any links to some good racks to hold my new Emotiva amps? My tv stand is a sony brushed aluminuim with glass shelfs. Looking to try and match that.
  18. http://emotiva.com/xpa5.shtmWell check this out. Looks like the sale worked will for Emotiva. I got mine just in time!
  19. Just the Onkyo 706 receiver. No amp!
  20. The Outlaw 200x5 is $1350, basically double the XPA-5's price.. that's not "a little bit more" in my book. I agree with you on the power cord, but I had already spent the $7 on a 14ga. cord before my XPA arrived. As for the finish - I thought the Outlaw's looked quite bland, but that's just my opinion. Eskimo1, Where did you get the heavier power cord from? I am looking at longer cords. But I am not sure where to order form or what type of cord I need?
  21. I did not think it was a good idea. yea I can place it somewhere. Just trying to make room for the XPA-5 and XPA-2.
  22. Wow, thats the first negative comment I have read about these amps. Thanks for making me second guess my purchase. I hope I have good luck with them or they improved on them since you got one.
