  1. so zone 2/3 can only be used as a processor/ preamp? Will i need an external or additional amp to be able to run 2 sources simultaneously? Sorry if I misundderstood u it will probably make much more sense to me once I get the amp. It is currently on it's way from OR. I'm beginning to wonder if UPS has a new shipping method called "UPS camel" or "UPS foot". It was sent out on the 13th coming from Oregon to INdiana. I can't beleive it's taking so long. Maybe i'm a little excited as well. Thnx for letting me vent! thnx again for the help; Gaib
  2. Long story . There WAS a high end dealer that changed hands a number of times. It initially opened as Ovation in Ft. Wayne the mall they were located in was very high rent. The store itself was state-of-the-art but the market in Ft. Wayne wasn't near as profitable as in Indy for obvious reasons. Someone bought all the inventory and moved to a much smaller store. They didn't have quite as much product on hand as the original ovation but similar. They also started selling verizon Fios out of the same store. The high end audio portion of it took a dive with the economy. They are still selling Fios as well as sitting on tens-of-thousands of dollars of high end AV equipment. Mostly Klipsch, Paradigm, Definitive, Sony, B&K, NAD,Monster, Yamaha. I just recently purchased a 73" Mitsu DLP for a song, but i think it's a cash only basis. Email me @ hollenbaughwall@embarqmail.com for the guy's name and # to get ahold of for the BEST deals/steals.
  3. I recently purchased a B&K AVR307. I can't find anyone who knows for sure if i can run it 5.1 and use the other channels for another zone. Ideally i would like to be able to run 5.1 inside the house while watching something on dish and also have zone two playing my outdoor speakers through a different source. I have heard conflicting arguments. I have heard that i wil need a seperate zone amp to be able to do that. Any help would be much apreciated Thnx; Gaib
  4. I am looking at a used B&K AVR-307. Over all i think it's a pretty good SS. amp what do all of u think? Will it play two different sources through different zones at the same time. The person I am buying it from does not know. I am currently using a yamaha RXV1600 which is nice but is a little underpowered for my system. I like to listen loud and i have to much money wrapped up in speakers to be putting distortion in them. Sorry, this is the first forum i have ever joined. what is a Tag?? thanks for the help Gaib
