Headspace

I'm brand new as well. I have always been a fan of Altec speakers and have the Model 14's & Valancias on my front end and some Santana 2's on my surround channels. For my center channel I'm using a Nature 6 center channel (2 6' inch speakers and a dome tweeter.) While it's a nice speaker there has been something lacking in the high end as they can't keep up with the Altecs sonically. Well of course I was left with little choice but to get my hands on a lightly used Klipsch C-7. I know this will be a much better match for the Altecs as I have heard many Klipsch speakers back in the day. I'm waiting for my C-7 to arrive soon. I can't wait. My only hope is it doesn't compel me to want to add a pair of Klipsch speakers to my surround back channels. This audio addiction has no logic. I'm like a crackhead in a candy store when I get around audio gear I want. Just ask my wife... Well somebody has to spend money they don't have to help drive us out of the coming global depression right?
